The virtual run is a pet run event where people can adopt and train a dog for a day.
The dogs can be puppies or adults.
It can be as simple as getting the dog to run around the yard and run with you to school or to the dog park to learn new tricks.
There is no need to get a dog that is an adult, though there are some special rules for adult dogs that will be announced later.

The virtual run, which runs for one hour, is hosted by PetGuru, a pet retailer based in New Jersey.
The online event for PetMills members runs from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., with PetGurus members also invited to participate.
